Issues Identified
- One Main outflow from the site leading to a local stream
- No Clear Manhole to install within – bespoke solution
- Mains Power was an issue
- Risk of Pollution to the local area through 1 drainage exit
Solutions & Savings
- Darcy installed a solar-powered unit with a backup battery
- As a manhole wasn’t available, we undertook civil works to enable drainage to be blocked
- Works completed in 1 working day
- Installation of the unit has improved the protection on site and reduced the risk of a pollution incident

The customer is considering the options of installing the units onto further sites
