Issues Identified

One Main outflow from the site leading to a local stream
No Clear Manhole to install within – bespoke solution
Mains Power was an issue
Risk of Pollution to the local area through 1 drainage exit

Solutions & Savings

Darcy installed a solar-powered unit with a backup battery
As a manhole wasn’t available, we undertook civil works to enable drainage to be blocked
Works completed in 1 working day
Installation of the unit has improved the protection on site and reduced the risk of a pollution incident

Going Forward / Further plans

The customer is considering the options of installing the units onto further sites
